2021- Here we go again!

Last years fete was an impressive feat of community effort.  I still feel incredibly proud of what was achieved on that beautiful September day.  It is driving me forward this year too.  We plan, currently, to deliver something similar to our traditional fete with a ‘Plan B’ ready to run in case restrictions are tightened rather than relaxed.

We have moved the date again.  This is to buy us time should restriction relaxing take a little longer than planned and also allow us to implement ‘Plan B’ should we need to.

The date you need to remember is Saturday 24th July 2021

The place you need to head (for Plan A) to is Wades House

Tea’s, cakes, bar, BBQ, games, skittles, coconuts, plants, bottle tombola, ice cream, bric-a-brac, books, produce, pizza and cider, the Chamber Choir, Ocean Brass music and the grand draw to name some of our spectacular delights will all be there.

We have chosen a theme to compliment the 2021 fete.

‘Everybody Counts’

This is based on the Census we all recently filled out and, we feel, encapsulates our community and the belonging we all feel.  Something that feels so much more important after the last 12 months.

Keep an eye on these pages for updates as we continue to plan and prepare!!  We are so excited to bring this to you!
